Answer: MagicGarden is owned and operated by a USA based company named Renewable Solutions Group. It owns the production factory in China that produces the Hydro products which also designs and produces the highly efficient lighting systems that compliment our MagicGarden system products. While much of the components originate in China, many of our components are manufactured in the USA.
• What do you mean “MagicFlo Technology” and why does it matter? How does it work?
Answer: MagicFlo technology – Our R&D team has designed and developed a new technology that incorporates 3 separate known successful Hydroculture growing techniques into a perfect user-friendly solution. A combination of Aeroponics, Hydroponics, and (NFT) Nutrient film technique, into a single technology that does the following:

• What is the difference between the Magic Garden “UltraGro” and "RapidGro" systems?
Answer: The “UltraGro” system is designed to effectively grow smaller vegetable plants such as lettuce, herbs, kale and most other typically surface-grown leafy vegetables and herbs. The RapidGro system is specifically designed to accommodate larger vegetable plants such as cucumbers, peppers and even tomatoes. There is more room for larger root systems and even has a custom trellis that will accommodate the larger vine-like growing plant structure.
• What is the difference between the “Starter growing system” and “Expansion set growing system” ?
Answer: The “Starter set growing system” for both the UltraGro and the RapidGro units, are Hydro systems that provides all of the equipment necessary to begin the indoor growing adventure immediately. The Starter Set contains all of the equipment needed such as pH meter / TDS meter , seed starter kit , funnel and tweezers. When you want to grow still more vegetables, then the only unit needed is the Starter growing system which provides everything needed to grow immediately (except for the equipment that you do not need duplicate tools for – this saves you money!).
• I received a starter set of nutrients in my Starter kit. How long will this last me, where do I purchase additional nutrients and can I use other brand nutrient and seed solutions?
Answer: The Starter bottles of nutrients are there to get you started and will last you from 60 to 90 days or more. You can reorder additional supplies of nutrients by simply visiting our website (www.magicgrowgarden.com) where you may purchase additional nutrients as well as other parts and supplies as you like. You may also purchase other brand nutrients from on line or retail stores – just make certain that they are suitable for hydroponic gardening and follow the manufacturer’s instructions closely.
• Can I use my MagicGarden System both outdoors and indoors?
Answer: Yes, you can use MagicGarden units outdoors as well as indoors. When using outdoors it is important that the grow unit has access to sun but is shielded from direct rain. When using indoors, the MagicGarden system should be set up where adequate sunlight can reach the system. A southern exposure window is the best solution. MagicGarden also offers artificial lighting solutions which enables the plants to grow nicely almost anywhere such as a basement, recreational room, breezeway or the likes. Just make sure that the temperature is not below freezing. (Better yet, from 60 to 80 degrees F. for best growing results.)
